Oui — les rainettes vertes de White sont l'une des très rares espèces de grenouilles qui tolèrent vraiment la manipulation. Mais « tolérer » est le mot clé : elles ne la recherchent pas. Lavez toujours vos mains avec un savon non parfumé et rincez soigneusement, puis humidifiez-les avant de prendre votre grenouille — la peau des grenouilles absorbe les produits chimiques directement, donc les résidus de savon, la lotion ou la peau sèche peuvent causer des brûlures chimiques ou une toxicité. Gardez les sessions à 10 à 15 minutes et retournez la grenouille si elle devient agitée. Ne manipulez jamais immédiatement après avoir mangé.
