How to Prepare

  1. Source organic bok choy when possible to minimize pesticide residue; rinse thoroughly under cold running water regardless.
  2. Remove the thick white stalk base — it is fibrous and difficult for juvenile dragons to chew safely; use only the leafy green portion.
  3. Chop leaves into pieces no wider than the space between your dragon's eyes to prevent choking.
  4. Serve raw at room temperature; cooking degrades heat-sensitive vitamins and does not meaningfully reduce goitrogens.
